Skinnyfromthe9 is the stage name for the American rapper and singer David Villegas. He was born in Hialeah, Florida on December 19, 1995. He chose the stage name Skinnyfromthe9 because his nickname growing up was skinny. Villegas started uploading his music on SoundCloud in 2016. In 2017 he released his single “Love Blast” that gained 3.5 million streams. He also released the singles “Family Rich” and “Count It” that same year. In 2018 he went on tour with Fetty Wap and was signed with L.A. Reid’s new record label HITCO. He released his debut mixtape in 2018 with HITCO titled It’s An Evil World featuring artist like Kap G, Fetty Wap, and PnB Rock. The singles on mixtape were “Love Blast”, “Back When I Was Broke”, and “Jump Out That.”
