Born in April 18, 1994, Amine or legally known as Adam Amine Daniel is well known for the song “Caroline”. He is a singer and rapper with the mix tape “Calling Brio”. Lately, he released his project having the title “Odyssey to Me”. However, it is believed that he was unsatisfied with the result and made it unavailable online.

He accidentally started his rapping career when he intended to make dis songs against rival schools way back in high school. The truth is, he wanted to pursue his basketball career, but was then cut from high school basketball team during freshman and sophomore years. During his career, Amine also worked with Canadian producer Kaytranda for his “Calling Brio” mix tape.

Little Simz

Little Simz, born Simbi Ajikawo, is a rapper and singer from North London. She started prolifically releasing mixtapes and EPs on Bandcamp as early as 2010, before earning acclaim for her music video for “Dead Body” four years later. A hard-hitting grime number, the song pays homage to English rappers in the UK grime scene with its electronic instrumental and her rapid-fire delivery. It did not go unnoticed, and she soon garnered praise from Dizzee Rascal, arguably the most successful of grime music pioneers. “Dead Body” became the lead single for her debut album, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, which was released on her own imprint, AGE: 101 Music, in 2015.

Big K.R.I.T.

Big Krit born Justin Scott is a rapper and record producer from Meridian, Mississippi, and is signed to Def Jam Records through Cinematic Music Group. The rapper first gained popularity through his mixtape KRIT Wuz Here, which saw him showing people his potential as both a rapper and producer. He has produced singles for rappers like T.I, and he is often looked at as one of the top lyricists in hip-hop. Jason Emmanuel Petty (Propaganda)

Jason Emmanuel Petty is a Christian rapper who is more popularly known as Propaganda. He was born in Los Angeles, California on May 27, 1979. He became part of a hip-hop group Tunnel Rats since 2002. He debuted on the same year on Sev Statik’s “Speak Life.”

He released the album Art Ambidextrous in 2012, followed by Excellent a year after. Crimson Cord (2014) made it to No. 2 of the Billboard Top Christian Album’s chart and No. 8 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums.

He released Crooked in 2017. The release peaked on No. 4 of the Billboard Top Christian Album’s chart. Crooked includes the tracks “Cynical” featuring Aaron Marsh and Sho Baraka, “Darkie” featuring Micah Bournes and Jackie Hill-Perry, and “Made Straight” featuring Audrey Assad

DJ Quik

Born David Marvin Blake on January 18, 1970, rapper and record producer DJ Quik was raised in Compton, California. He grew up with a love for music, and was heavily influenced by funk artists such as George Clinton. After independently selling a few of his mixtapes, he was signed to Profile Records, through whom he released his debut album Quik is the Name. This album was carried by the singles “Tonite” and “Born and Raised in Comptom”, which were two top 20 songs. Quik is the Name was later certified Platinum. He would go on to release the albums Way 2 Fonky in 1992, which went Gold, Safe + Sound in 1995, Rhythm-al-ism in 1998, Balance & Options in 2000, Under tha Influence in 2002, Trauma in 2005, and The Book of David in 2011. DJ Quik was then honored at the American Music Awards in 2012 for winning the Biggest Celebrity DJ Award. Throughout his career, he has been able to work with various artists such as Ice Cube, Bun B, Snoop Dogg, and E-40, among many others.

Bugzy Malone

Born in December 20, 1990, Bugzy Malone or legally known as Aaron Davis, has a Manchester, England origin. His first release was entitled “Swagga Man” back in 2010. He was called as “The Evil Genius” because of his wordsmith. He got the reputation of being among the best Grime talents of UK.

He released projects such as “Why So Serious,” “The Journey of an Evil Genius”, “Lost in Meanwhile City,” “Stereotyped”, and “Relegation Riddim.” Back in 2012, he aced the Manchester Heat of Converse MC competition. Together with Stormzy, Bugzy Malone also promoted music videos through a channel in Link up TV YouTube. By the time he released his debut EP entitled “Walk with me,” it was able to take the UK Album Charts’ 8th spot.

Wiley

Wiley was born Richard Kylea Cowie Jr. on January 19, 1979, on Bow, East London. He became a member of Pay As U Go in 2001, and they released the track “Champagne Dance” in 2001. The track became a top 40 hit during its release. He also founded the Roll Deep Crew.

His albums include Traddin’ on Thin Ice (2004), Playtime is Over (2007), and See Clear Now (2008). One of the singles from his third album, “Wearing My Rolex” made it to No.2 of the UK charts.

He featured on “Never Be Your Woman” by the Naughty Boy. He also worked on Chill Out Zone, 100% Publishing, Evolve or Be Extinct, and The Ascent which produced the chart-topping hit “Heatwave.” He released Godfather in 2017, and the follow-up Godfather II the next year. He also dropped the single “Slide to My in 2018.”

Geko

Geko was born as Hodifa Al Shibli on June 15, 1997, on Manchester. USG, a popular group which included K Koke, signed him when he was 13. Being part of the group earned him a large following. He also recorded with DJ Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1’s Fire in the Booth Sessions.

In 2011, he teamed up with Aetcix and dropped the 12-track album Goat Mob. He dropped his first single “Heartless in 2013.” The song placed No. 9 on the iTunes chart. After the success of the track, he released Crazy Life. He performed with Big Sean and Tinie Tempah.

In 2017, he released the 12-track album LionHeart which includes the tracks “Can Be Lovers” featuring M. Dargg and “Downfall” featuring Nafe Smallz & Tion Wayne. He also featured on NSG’s “Yo Darlin’” and Maleek Berry’s “Eko Miami.”

Jaykae

Jaykae, born as Janum Khan on July 23rd, 1991 in Birmingham, England is a U.K. based rapper in the grime genre. He began to rap at the age of 18 and released his first single in 2016. The single entitled “Toothache” has accumulated over 3 million views on YouTube to date.

In 2016 Jaykae caught the attention of Crimson Bull Studios and was invited to sign a record deal with them. Drawing from his life experiences his musical style is raw and traditional grime. In May of 2016 his musical style attracted the attention of Skepta.  He was then invited to open for Skepta’s Birmingham show on his Konnichiwa tour. Jaykae has collaborated with other Birmingham artists such as Dapz On The Map, Mist, and was featured on Skepta’s remix of “That’s Not Me.”  In December of 2016 Jaykae sold out his first solo show at Birmingham’s O2 Academy to the tune of 600 attendees.

George the Poet

Born in January 14, 1991, George the Poet is legally known as George Mpanga. He was born in London’s Caribbean-centric Harlesden area. His genre includes social and political expressions through rap music. He is also a word artist, writer, and a good public speaker.

He spent his early years in grime and rap scene. Later, he was able to finish his sociology, politics, and psychological studies at Kings College, Cambridge. However, he lost his interest for the excess –laden aspects of rap genre.

He focused more on honing his craft, but relying less on the usual hip-hop and more on poet-kissed social commentaries. His debut was “EP, The Chicken & Egg” back in 2013. This was later on shortlisted for Critic’s Choice at the Brit Awards in 2015.

Kid Trunks

Kid Trunks is a young American rapper hailing from Vietnam. Also known as YoungBoiTrunks he is known for joining a music collective known as Members Only. A frequent collaborator of Zxxtentacion, Ski Mask and The Slump God, he has been featured on the Wifisfuenral song Right Back and has worked on the song Connoisseur alongside Robb Bank$.

Working under his own record label, The Kid Before Trunks LLC, he has two albums released so far, an impressive feat for someone born in 2000. His albums are The Kid Before Trunks and SS1.  Some of his best known singles are Flex!, Underwater Trunks, Frost! And Mustard Gold. His early success has lead to over 50k followers on SoundCloud and a dedicated fan base on social media.
