Watsky, otherwise known as George Virden Watsky is an author, poet and American Hip Hop Artist who hails from California. With a career that began in slam poetry at the young age of 15, his poetry incorporates political and social themes.
In 2009, Watsky branched out into music, producing an album titled Watsky.it achieved moderate success and led to a video entitled Pale kid raps fast in which he did a speed delivery of a humorous original rap, with the support of Reddit and Phillip DeFranco, this track went viral. Riding the wave of his success he has released three other albums and started working as an actor and author with mainstream success in television shows such as Arrested Development and is going to be seen in the upcoming film Blindspotting.
