Coming from London, United Kingdom, The Boxer Rebellion is an indie rock band found back in 2002. Members Nathan Nicholson, Todd Howe, Piers Hewitt, and Adam Harrison formed the band as they have hanged-out together for musical sessions. Their music was part of cross-section acts with other bands like Radiohead, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Verve.
The band was spotted by Alan McGee which led to their signing under Poptones label. Their singles “Watermelon,” Code Red”, and “In Pursuit” was released under them. Their debut album “Exits” was released in 2005 under Mercury/Universal. By 2009, “Union” arrived while “The Cold Still” followed in 2011. Their latest is “Ocean by Ocean” in 2009.
