Snarky Puppy is a jazz band led by musician Michael League, who created the band in 2004. Their debut Album, The Only Constant, was released in 2006. They later released their independent albums GroundUP, Tell Your Friends, We Like It Here, and Family Dinner – Volume 1.
The group has performed all around the world and gained international recognition. In 2014, they won a Grammy Award in the Best R&B Performance for their song Something from their album Family Dinner – Volume 1. They also won the Readers Poll Jazz Group of the Year in 2016. They received two more Grammy Awards in 2016 and 2017, both for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album.
