Sandra Bernhard was born on June the 6th 1955 in Michigan and is an American comedian, singer, author, model and actress. Coming to fame in the late 1970’s for her stand up comedy, she was known to critique celebrity culture and political figures. Labelled one of the best stand up comedians of all time by Comedy Central she is well known for portraying Nancy Barlett Thomas in the ABC sitcom Roseanne.
With twelve studio albums created thus far, she is known to perform pop music with jazz and blues overtones and often combines music and comedy in her albums. A staple in comedic films, her most recent film roles include Dinner Rush where she portrayed Jennifer and Dare as Serena Mohr.
