Sam Worthington

An Australian actor, Sam Worthington hails from Perth and attended the John Curtin College of the Arts. He then trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. With a breakthrough role in the Australian film Somersault he followed this with the televisions series Love My Way.
Coming to International recognition with James Cameron’s acclaimed film Avatar, Worthington played Jake Sully in the film. Most recently transitioning into more dramatic roles the actor portrayed guide Guy Cotter in the biographical film Everest and most recently The Shack and the biographical war film Hacksaw Ridge alongside Andrew Garfield and Teresa Palmer. The actor is also set to be working on the film The Titan as a lead character. Worthington is currently filming the highly anticipated Avatar sequels, reprising his role as Jake Sully.
