Rajon Pierre Rondo was born on February 22, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky. He signed as a point guard for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played high school basketball at Eastern (Middletown, Kentucky) and Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia). Rondo played in college at the University of Kentucky (2004–2006).
He won the NBA championship (2008), NBA All-Star four times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), All-NBA Third Team (2012), NBA All-Defensive First Team twice (2010, 2011), NBA All-Defensive Second Team twice (2009, 2012), NBA assists leader thrice (2012, 2013, 2016), NBA steals leader (2010) and NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2007).
