Michael Sheen is a Welsh actor, hailing from Newport Wales. With an early career in theatre, he was educated at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Rising to prominence as a well known television and film actor, his best known roles from this time includes Tony Blair in the film The Queen, in which he starred alongside Helen Mirren and received nominations for a BAFTA and Emmy and his part in Frost/ Nixon as Frost.
His latest roles include a role in the 2016 Science Fiction film Passengers, where he worked alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as well as the television show Masters of Sex, for which he has been nominated for a Golden Globe, Satellite Award and Critics Choice Award.
