MC Yogi is legally known as Nicholas Giacomini. He promotes his Hindu philosophy through his music. It is noticeable that most of his songs are bhajans. He loves both yoga and hip-hop which lead to his unique music genre collaboration.
MC Yogi was born in Northern California. During his formative years, he spent his life in a home for at-risk boys. He started honing his rap skills by that time, and by the age of 18, he started practicing Yoga. He did so with an Indian spiritual leader.
He immersed himself on studying yoga and other Hindu philosophies, but never lost his love for music. So by 2008, he released his debut album “Elephant Power” through White Swan Records that features the collaboration of Hindu philosophies and hip-hop music.
