Coming from Milan, Italy, Lacuna Coil is a gothic metal band. Their debut was their self-titled EP which was released in 1998. With Cristina Scabbia’s vocals, Lacuna Coils was well-received by the Italian audience. Then they made their European tour playing with Moonspell, the Gathering, and Seigmen. Other members of the band are Andrea Ferro, Marco Coti Zelati, Christiano Mozzati, and Cristiano Migliore.
Their full-length was released in 1999 entitled “In a Reverie.” In 2000, the “Halflife” was released followed by “Unleashed Memories” in 2001. Their third album “Comalies” was highly regarded in the metal scene. Then their biggest break was with “Karmacode” that was released in 2006.
