La Tribu de Abrante are a fusion orchestra and Latin band based out of Puerto Rico. The group consists of Hiram Abrante, Luis Abrante, Jomar Abrante. The group formed in 2010 and melds the genres of traditional bomba, plena, salsa, Latin jazz, funk, reggaeton, and urban pop together. Hiram Abrante formed the band after doing years of studio background vocals for artists such as Tego Calderon. The group began their musical journey by playing many local fairs, festivals, and weddings for a number of years. In 2015 La Tribu de Abrante recorded and released their debut single entitled “Dale Pa’ La Calle.” The single was released by the digital label White Lion. In late 2015 the group released their second single entitled “Yo No Se.” In 2016 La Tribu de Abrante released their debut studio album called Otro Formato de Musica. The album entered the Top Latin Albums chart at the number 6 position.
