Kevin Love was born as Kevin Wesley Love in Santa Monica, California on September 7, 1988. He was the first round, 5th pick, 5th overall pick of the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2008 NBA Draft. He serves as the center and power forward. He made his NBA debut on October 29, 2008. He has been part of the All-Star Games five times, and he was also the Most Improved Player during the 2010 season. He received the Rookie of the Month award on March 2009, and he was the first-team All-Rookie in 2008-09 and second team All-NBA in 2011-12 and 2013-14. The Grizzlies traded Love to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2015, he signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2018, he signed a contract extension.
