Jowell & Randy are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo formed in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 2000. The members of the duo are Joel Munoz and Randy Ortiz. They are one of the most popular acts in reggaeton. In 2007 they released their debut studio album titled Casa de Leones. They have since released the albums Los Más Sueltos del Reggaeton, El Momento, Sobredoxis, and Viva La Musik. They have also released the mixtapes Tengan Paciencia, Pre-Doxis, El Imperio Nazza: Doxis Edition, Under Doxis, and La Alcaldía del Perreo. Joel and Randy have also released several solo albums on their own. The duo has released their music and albums through the labels Live, Diamond, White Lion, Warner Bros., Machete, WY, and Rimas. The group has been nominated for several awards and have won three People Choice Reggaeton and Urban Awards, a Premios Juventud Award, a Premios People en Espanol Award, and an ASCAP Latin Music Award.
