Jemima Kirke is an English-American artist and actress born in Westminster, London, England on April 26, 1985. She is best known for her role as Jessica Johansson on the television show Girls. In 2008 she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. She held an art exhibition in 2011 titled “A Brief History” through Skylight Projects. From 2017 to 2018 she held a show at Sargent’s Daughters. In 2010 she made her debut in film in the movie Tiny Furniture and continued landing roles in the films Ava’s Possessions, The Little Hours, Wild Honey Pie, Untogether, All These Small Moments, and Sylvie. She made her debut on television in 2012 in the show Girls and has since had roles in the shows Axe Cop, The Simpsons, Maniac, and High Maintenance.
