Ilfenesh Hadera was born on December the 1st 1985 and is an American actress of Ethiopian and European ethnicity. Training at the Harlem School of Arts, she made her film debut in 2010 and went on to have guest roles in television shows such as The Blacklist before playing Carmen Febbles in the television miniseries Show Me a Hero.
Her success in the show led her to play Deb Kawi in the television show Billions alongside Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis. Hadera then went on to play Lisa in master of None, the Netflix comedy series created and starring Aziz Ansari, and got her breakthrough with Baywatch where she played Stephanie Holden alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Most recently she is portraying Kay Daniels in the television series Deception.
