Foxing is an indie rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri in 2011. The current members of the band are Conor Murphy on vocals and trumpet, Ricky Sampson on guitar, Eric Hudson on guitar, and Jon Hellwig on drums. Foxing was formed in 2011 after the post-rock band Hunter Gatherer split up. In 2012 they released their debut EP titled Old Songs. The band released two split albums in 2013 with Send Away Stranger and Japanese Breakfast. That same year they released their debut studio album titled The Albatross. In 2015 they released their second studio album titled Dealer and in 2018 they released their third studio album titled Nearer My God. They have released their music through the labels Carucage, Count Your Lucky Stars, and Triple Crown.
