Fisher

Fisher is the stage name of the Australian DJ and music producer Paul Nicholas Fisher. He was born in Australia on November 5, 1986. Before starting his music career, he was a pro surfer on the World Qualifying Series. He started his music career while touring on the pro surfing circuit as one half on the DJ duo Cut Snake with fellow surfer Leigh Sedley. Paul ended up going solo and started releasing house music under the stage name Fisher. In 2017 he released his debut single titled “Ya Kidding” and has since released the singles “Oi Oi”, “Crowd Control”, “Losing It” and “You Little Beauty.” His single “Losing It” charted at number 35 in Australia, 26 in Belgium, and 60 in Ireland and the UK. It was certified gold by the ARIA. The single earned Fisher a nomination for an ARIA Award for Best Dance Release and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.
