David Blaine

Born on April 4, 1973, David Blaine came from Brooklyn, New York. Blaine’s introduction to magic started when he was a 4-year old curious boy who saw street magic performance on a local subway train. He also attended the Neighborhood Playhouse drama school and made TV commercials and soap operas. During this time, he was able to levitate off of the ground.

In 1994, David Blaine’s mother died because of cancer. But he pursued street magic and for famous people like Mike Tyson, Al Pacino, and David Geffen. His tape performance was sent to ABC, which led to his own show entitled “David Blaine: Street Magic” and “David Blaine: Magic Man.”
