The Creed came from the late ‘90s when it became among the most popular rock bands. They sold millions of albums in just a few years in the music business. But the band was often slammed by critics. Especially with the lead vocalist’s physical appearance. Their music are sort of spiritual, giving rise to the rock-Christian music genre. Despite all the lambasting, Creed still is an unstoppable music act.
Their debut album “My Own Prison” had four number one singles on the Billboard’s rock charts. It sold five million copies in a short time with very little exposure and media coverage. Their sophomore release “Human Clay” entered the charts at number one with ten million copies sold. The song “Higher” stayed in number one spot for 17 weeks on rock radio.
