Collin Sexton is an American professional basketball player born in Marietta, Georgia on January 4, 1999. He is currently a point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association. Collin started playing basketball at three years old and played high school basketball at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia. In 2016 he won a gold medal with the 2016 USA Men’s U17 World Championship team at the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship and was named the MVP of the tournament. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Alabama and made his debut with the team on November 14 , 2017. In 2018 he entered the NBA draft and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut on October 17, 2018 against the Toronto Raptors.
