Caitlyn Smith is American country music singer and songwriter. Raised in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, the artist released her first independent record, Learning to be at the age of fifteen in 2001. Going on to release her next album, Silence, her third album Face Over heels was released in 2007.
Despite the success of her early work, her mainstream success came after she signed to Monument records and released her next album, Starfire in early 2018 to immense success. Having played at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bourbon & Beyond Festival and Americana Fest, she has been named as one of the 10 New Artists you Need To Know by Rolling Stones Magazine, an accurate statement seeing as the young artist has written songs for the like of Meghan Trainor and James Bay.
