Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 or better known as Alaska, is the stage name of the drag performer, model, and musician Justin Andrew Honard. Honard was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on March 6, 1985. Alaska rose to fame in 2013 when she competed and became runner-up in the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She returned in the second season of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race in 2016 and went on to win that season. Honard launched his recording career as Alaska Thunderfuck with the debut single “Ru Girl” in 2013. In 2014 she released her second single “Your Makeup Is Terrible” that became popular online that same year she released her third single “Nails”. In 2015 she released her first full debut album Anus and followed it up with a second album in 2016, titled Poundcake. Alaska has also made appearances in films such as Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia With Hate, The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time, and several others.
