Adam Brand

Adam Brand is an Australian country musician born in Perth, Australia on January 27, 1970. He started singing from a young age and made his first stage appearance at the age of three with his father at a pub in his hometown Perth. As a teenager he would play the drums in churches and started busking on Peel Street in Tamworth. While busking he was noticed by someone in the record industry and was signed to the label Festive Mushroom Records in 1997. He released his debut studio album in 1998 self-titled Adam Brand that reached number 44 on the Australian ARIA album charts and received a platinum certification. In 1999 he received three Golden Guitars for Song of the Year, Video of the Year and New Talent of the Year and his album was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Country Album. Throughout his career he has released 14 studio albums, including Good Friends, Get Loud, Built for Speed, What a Life, Hell of a Ride, There Will Be Love, My Side of the Street, Get On Your Feet and others. Brand has been nominated for a number of awards and has won 12 CMA Awards, 11 CMC Awards and 3 MO Awards.
