YNW Melly is the stage name of Jamell Demons a rapper born on Gifford, Florida on May 1, 1999.
He began uploading his music on Soundcloud in 2015. His music began to attract attention in 2017 when he put out the track “Murder On My Mind.”
His most popular songs include “Melly The Menace,” “Slang That Iron,” and “Virtual.” In 2018, he dropped the four-track project Collect Call EP which contains the songs “Legendary,” “Catching Feelings,” “Like the 80’s” featuring Lil B, and “Legendary Remix” featuring John Wicks. In the same year, he released the project I Am You which featured 15 tracks. YNW Melly appears as a featured artist on Tiurakh$ushii’s “Sushi Gang,” Lil Polo Da Don’s “4 Everybody,” and Burga’s “Nightmares at the Bottom.”
