Coming from Ithaca, New York, X Ambassadors or simply known as XA, is an indie, alternative rock band. They are known for their dark, soulful, throaty vocals by their lead Sam Harris. XA was formed on 2009, together with Casey Harris, Noah Feldshuh, and Adam Levin. They released their self-titled EP in 2009. The song “Litoist” became a sensation in radio stations. Another song entitled “Unconsolable” aced them a recording contract.
In 2013, they released their EP “Love Songs Drug Songs,” via Interscope label after which they joined Jimmy Eat World and Imagine Dragons for a tour. They gained exposure when they collaborated with Jamie N Commons for a commercial for Dr. Dre’s Beats. Their full-length was released in 2015 entitled “VHS.”
