Westside Gunn, otherwise known as Alvin Lamar Worthy was born in1982 in the State of New York and is an American rapper. Part of the dup Hall N’ Nash with his brother Conway, a fellow rapper, Gunn utilises his own record label to put out music and also works with The Purit’s Daupe! Records.
In 2016 he released FLYGOOD, his debut studio album to widespread critical acclaim. This then led to the duo signing a deal with legendary rapper Eminem’s Shady Records, working under Interscope, the duo made history with this deal, being the first rappers from Buffalo, New York to sign with a major international label. With seven solo mixtapes and frequent collaborations, they have a unique sound.
