Tyron Smith was born on December 12, 1990 in Los Angeles, California. He began playing football at a young age and had no hesitation when he received a college scholarship. Smith attended the University of Southern California where he earned the 2009 All-Pac-10 honorable mention and CollegeFootballNews.com Sophomore All-American honorable mention. In the 2011 NFL Draft he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the 9th overall pick. Smith played on Team Rice in the 2014 Pro Bowl and also signed an 8-year contract extension with the Cowboys in the same year.
