Tom Hopper is an English actor born in Coalville, England on January 28, 1985. He is best known for his roles in several highly popular television series like Merlin, Black Sails, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones. His debut in film was in 2007 in the movie Saxon, he has since been in the movies, Tormented, Cold, Northmen: A Viking Saga, Kill Ratio, I Feel Pretty, and SAS: Red Notice. Also in 2007 he made his debut on television in the series Casualty, he has also been in the television series, Kingdom, Doctors, Doctor Who, Merlin, Good Cop, Black Sails, Barbarians Rising, Game of Thrones, and The Umbrella Academy. In 2018 he was nominated for a Gold Derby Award for Ensemble of the Year and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama series for the television series Game of Thrones.
