The Skints are a London-based band whose eclectic musical style includes the sounds of reggae, dub, ska, punk, dancehall, and soul. The band was first formed as a group of school friends in 2005 at Woodbridge High School (London). The current lineup includes Jon Doyle (bass), Jamie Kyriakides (drums/vocals), Josh Waters Rudge (guitar/vocals), and Marcia Richards (flute/vocals/sax/keyboard).
The Skints released their debut album, Live.Breathe.Build.Believe, in 2009. Three years later they came out with their sophomore album, Part & Parcel. Their most recent album, FM, released in 2015, proved to be their true rise to fame. The album peaked at #5 on the Billboard’s Reggae charts in the United States, and at #7 on the UK’s Independent Albums chart.
