Taylor Lewan was born in Loomis, Arizona on July 21, 1991. He was the first round, the 11th overall pick of the Tennessee Titans in the 2014 NFL Draft.
He signed a four-year contract with the Tennessee Titans in 2014. The Titans exercised their fifth-year contract option. When the contract expired, they opted to sign Lewan to another five-year contract.
He was part of the 2014 NFL All-Rookie Team. He was also part of the NFL Top 100 in 2017 (No. 72) and 2018 (No. 78). He was a Pro Bowl pick for 2016 and 2017.
In college, Lewan went to the University of Michigan. He was redshirted in his freshman year, and he was named as Freshman All-America second team in 2010. In 2012, the media named Lewan as one of the five Big Ten Offensive players to watch.
