Stormzy

Rapper Stormzy was born Michael Omari on July 26, 1993 in London, England. He began emceeing at the age of eleven.

In July 2014, Stormzy released his debut EP entitled “Dreamers Disease.” He won the award for Best Grime Act at the 2014 MOBO Awards. He performed on “Later with Jools Holland” in October 2014, becoming the first unsigned rapper to ever do so. He was number three on the BBC Introducing Top Five in January 2015, and he was also named to the BBC’s Sound of 2015 list. He released a single, “Know Me From,” in March 2015, and it reached number two on the UK Indie chart and number seven on the UK R&B chart.
