Stefon Diggs is an American professional football player born in Gaithersburg, Maryland on November 29, 1993. He is currently a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. Diggs played football in high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. He went on to play college football at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland from 2012 to 2014. In 2015 he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 5th round, 146th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was signed to a four-year contract for $2.5 million with a signing bonus of $227,000. He made his NFL debut in the fourth week of the 2015 season against the Denver Broncos. In 2018 he signed a five-year extension contract with the Vikings for $72 million. He is to play with the Vikings until the end of the 2023 season. Throughout his NFL career he has recorded 302 receptions, 3,493 receiving yards, and 24 receiving touchdowns.
