Born in 1987 in East London, Steel Banglez is a DJ, rapper and music producer. He was influenced at a young age by playing Indian instruments and was taught to DJ by his older brother. Eventually Banglez began producing music for Ghetts, Wiley, and Yung Meth.
Mostly known as an underground talent within the UK, his standout track Karlas Back was recorded with rapper MIST. With recent hits such as Bad, Money and Go Down South he is no longer the underground artist, and is now established in the industry as someone to watch. His unique idea to sample tracks from different countries such as Bollywood, Jamaican and Chinese sounds and different genres lead him to make a new and distinct sound.
