Sikdope is the stage persona of Dawid Kabaciński, a Polish DJ whose career launched in 2012. As a child, he’d studied singing, piano and saxophone at a music school in Poland, and was lead singer in a mainstream rock band for a few years before turning his attention to electronic music. He works in dubstep and electro house.
Sikdope has released a prolific string of singles and remixes from 2012 to the present day, and has moved to Los Angeles, California, basing his operations there. His most common associate is the Israeli dubstep producer Borgore, on whose label Buygore he’s now signed. Sikdope is a rising talent whose career has been pegged as one to watch.
