Shenseea

Shenseea is the stage name for Chinsea Lee, a dancehall performer and DJ. She mixes a strong R&B / hip-hop element into her music. She broke out in 2015 performing at Reggae Sumfest, Montego Bay, Jamaica. She has collaborated with reggae singer/songwriter Jamiel Foster for her debut single “Tell Me” in 2013, DJ Vybz Kartel for her single “Loodi” (2017), and DJ Sean Paul for her single “Rolling” (2017). She’s also joined Sean Paul on tour.

Shenseea has accepted a commercial endorsement deal from Pepsi-Cola. She’s won the awards for Young Hot and Hype Artiste; Break Out Celebrity of 2016, and Collaboration of The Year at the 2016 Youth View Awards. Describing herself in an interview on The Fader magazine, she says, “I’m a really rough child. I grew up like that. I didn’t grow up like a princess.”
