Sarah Paulson, born Sarah Catherine Paulson on December the 17th 1974 in Florida, is an American actress. Her career began in 1994, where after a start on the stage, she starred in the television series American Gothic, which she then followed up with the comedy-drama, Jack & Jill. Going on to appear in comedic films such as What Women Want and Down with Love, she then established herself as a dramatic actor with Path to War and The Notorious Bettie Page.
Earning a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the NBC comedy-drama, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, she has more recently become well known for her career in television , markedly the American Horror Story series, where she works alongside Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Chloe Sevigny.
