Rochelle Humes, born Rochelle Eulah Eileen Wiseman on March 21st, 1989 in Barking & Dagenham, London began performing during her time at Colin’s Performing Arts School. Her rise into the musical spotlight came when she joined the group S Club Juniors, an offshoot of the famous S Club 7 pop group.

S Club juniors came from a reality show called S Club Search that aired on the CBBC in 2001.  The show was a critical success and the group was tapped to tour as the opening act of S Club 7’s tour.  Rochelle and the rest of S Club Juniors were signed to Polydor Records. Their first single “One Step Closer” and their second single “Automatic High” reached the number 2 spot on the UK Singles Chart. The group released their debut album, Together, in October 2002 and reaching number 5 on the alum sales charts in the UK.  The group changed their name to S Club 8 and released their second album in October 2003 called Sundown.

In 2007 Rochelle joined the girl group The Saturdays. Their debut single, “If This Is Love,” reached the Top 10 in the UK upon release. They released their debut album, Chasing Lights, in 2008 and reached the Top 10 Album Charts in the UK. The album was certified platinum in the same year. The band released 3 more albums up to 2013.
