Rich Brian formerly known as Rich Chigga, born Brian Imanuel on September 3rd, 1999, is an Indonesian rapper and comedian who gained fame on Youtube with his music video, titled Dat $tick in 2016, which has now accumulated nearly 50 million views. He went on to release two more singles Who That Be and Seventeen in the same year through media company 88 Rising. In his latest work, he has featured on Diplo’s track Bankroll, along with Young Thug and Rich The Kid.
He has maintained a large online following, recently making an appearance on Pharrell’s radio show, OTHERtone Beats 1 Radio. In May 2017, he won Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Indonesian Choice Awards.
