Rasheeda Buckner is an American songwriter, rapper, fashion designer and TV personality, hailing from Georgia. Famous as RaSheeda, she started her career as a member of a teenage band, Da Kaperz. She launched herself independently after they disbanded in 2000. Her debut single, “Do It” was released in 2000. She released her debut album, “Dirty South” in 2001 under D-Lo and Motown Records. Pastor Troy, Re-Re Thugz Nation and Nelly made guest appearances in the album. Her sixth album, “Boss Chick Music” was released under her own label D-Lo in 2012. She is a member of R&B/ HipHop duo Peach Candy with Kandi Burruss (R&B songwriter and singer). Rasheeda owns an accessory and apparel website –Imbossy.com and Poiz cosmetics is her own make up line.
