Coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, Pillar was found in 1998. The band was composed of members Rob Beckley on vocals, Lester Estelle for drums, guitarist Noah Henson, and bassist Kalel. Pillar plays Christian rock music. The four members developed their sound since they were attending Ft. Hays State University in Kansas.
They signed under Flicker in 2000 releasing their debut “Metamorphosis.” Their follow up was entitled “Above” within that same year. Their single “Open Your Eyes” became popular in college being sold for more than 60,000 copies. They were awarded as the Best Rock Band for the Dove Awards in 2001. In 2004, they released “Where Do We Go from Here.”
