Nita Strauss

Nita Straus is a proudly defiant rock guitarist, best known for her work in the all-female Iron Maiden tribute band called the Iron Maiden, and for her current membership in Alice Cooper’s band. She has shared a stage with artists such as Jermaine Jackson, Femme Fatale, and Critical Hit, as well as being the in-house guitarist for the KISS-owned football team LA KISS. In 2017 she founded her own Progressive metal band We Start Wars, for which she’s started a Kickstarter fund to finance her tour after she launches her first album.

As a member of The Iron Maidens, Strauss has garnered awards from the likes of The Rock City News Awards, The LA Music Awards, and The All Access Magazine Award Show. Along with all this, she finds the time to pen the Premier Guitar column “Drop Dead Shred.”
