Newton Faulkner, born Sam Newton Battenberg Faulkner is from Reigate, Surrey is an English songwriter and singer known for his style of guitar playing. Newton got his start as a kid acting in the Royal Shakespeare company playing in Richard III and Christmas Carol. When he was thirteen he played in a Green Day cover band on bass guitar. His debut album Hands Built by Robots was a hit in the UK his second album Rebuilt by Humans was released in 2009 and was another hit. In April 2012 his EP titled Sketches was released. His third album Write it on Your Skin was also released in 2012. His 4th album, Studio Zoo was released in 2013, and his fifth album, Human Love, in 2015. Nelson is in the stage production of Green Day’s American Idiots playing the part of Johnny.
