Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Anne Bedingfield was born on November 26, 1981, in Sussex, England. She initially began her music career alongside her siblings as rock and gospel singers for the Hillsong London Church. Later, in 2004, she released her first studio album Unwritten which sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide. The single off the album with the same name landed her a Grammy Nomination for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” in 2007 and was the second most played song on the radio in 2006. This single and others allowed Natasha Bedingfield to make her way onto the U.S. music charts. She has since released five top ten singles in the U.K.

Natasha Bedingfield released her second album N.B. in April of 2007, but it received mixed reviews due to her switch from pop to R&B and reggae influences. Shortly after its release, Bedingfield went on tour with Justin Timberlake to promote her new album. Aside from her music, she has been involved in charity campaigns including Stop the Traffik, an anti-human trafficking coalition.
