Modern Baseball

Coming from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Modern Baseball is an emo indie rock band found in 2012. The band started at Drexel University in Philadelphia when Jake Ewald and Brendan Lukens started writing their own songs. Their music was inspired by Say Anything and Motion City Soundtrack, as well as Dashboard Confessional and Front Bottoms. Initially an acoustic act, the band came to emerge when Sean Huber and Ian Farmer joined the two thus forming Modern Baseball.

Their debut is entitled “Sports.” Their “Run” was signed under Cover Records as well as their follow-up “You’re Gonna Miss It All” in 2014. Under Lame-O Records, their EP “MOBO Presents: The Perfect Cast EP featuring Modern Baseball” arrived in 2015. “Holy Ghost” is their third studio album.
