Rapper Lunchmoney Lewis was born Gamal Lewis on January 11, 1988 in Miami, Florida. He was influenced by his father and uncle who were in the reggae group, Inner Circle. They also own a recording studio where Flo Rida and Lil’ Wayne have recorded.

Lewis first gained recognition after appearing on the song, “Trini Dem Girls,” on Nicki Minaj’s album, “Pinkprint,” in 2014. He co-wrote on the Jessie J song, “Burnin’ Up,” and the song, “Bo$$,” by Fifth Harmony. He released his debut single, “Bills,” in 2015. It reached number two on the UK Singles chart and number one on the Australian ARIA charts. In the United States, it reached number sixteen on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, number 26 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, and number 79 on the Billboard Top 100. In April 2015, he released the “Bills” EP on Kemosabe Records.
