Luis Miguel

Luis Miguel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 19, 1970. His real name is Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri and he was originally signed to EMI Mexico before he decided to sign with Warner Latina.
Miguel released his debut album, Un Sol, when he was 11. One of his most popular tracks at the time was the single “1+1= Dos Enamorados.”
He released his follow up album, Busca Una Mujer, in 1988. La Incondicional, one of the singles in the record, became one of the top hits in Latin America. The single Fria Como el Viento also topped the Hot Latin Tracks in the following year. Separados which was released in 1990 peaked at No. 8. The album 20 Años which was released in 1990 spawned the singles “Tengo Todo Excepto A Ti” and “Entrégate” that peaked at No. 1 of the Hot Latin Tracks in Billboard.
