Lights

Lights is a Canadian electronic artist who plays in the genres electropop, electronic rock, indietronica, and synthpop. She picked up guitar by age nine, and by age thirteen she turned her interest to electronic music. Her first crack at the Canadian charts came in 2008 when she released the single “Drive My Soul.” She soon cashed in her fame to tour around the Great Lakes region of the US and Canada.

Lights has since won piles of awards, including four Junos and two Indie awards. Her debut studio album, “The Listening” (2010), sold certified gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association. She’s also released three subsequent studio albums: “Siberia” (2011), “Little Machines” (2014), and “Skin & Earth” (2017). the last of these albums includes a comic books written and illustrated by Lights herself.
