Coming from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Last Dinosaurs was formed in 2007. The quartet was often compared with the likes of Phoenix, the Kooks, and Two Door Cinema Club. Sean Caskey (frontman) and Dan Koyama (drummer) were still in high school when the band was formed. Caskey’s brother Lachlan was recruited for the guitars and Sam Gethin-Jones for the bass.
In 2010, they released their debut EP entitled “Back from the Dead.” The full-length “In A Million Years” arrived in 2012, and was considered as their breakthrough release reaching the Top Ten of Australian Albums chart. In 2013, Gethin-Jones was replaced by Michael Sloane. Their sophomore release “Wellness” arrived in 2015.
