Ky-Mani Marley

Ky-Mani Marley is the second youngest of the infamous Bob Marley’s eleven children. His mother is table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis. Born in Jamaica and growing up largely in Miami, Ky-Mani’s original plans were not to follow in his father’s musical footsteps but pursue sports instead. At some point during his path, one which even Ky-Mani has been quoted to not know, this changed and his ingrained appreciation for music turned to a love for producing it. Today, the second youngest Marley is a world renown actor and roots reggae artist, whose music stylings include the sounds of world, hip-hop, blues, and rock.

Ky-Mani Marley has produced at least four albums and appeared in at least three films. His album’s include 1996’s Like Father Like Son, 1999’s The Journey, 2001’s Many More Roads, and 2007’s Radio. His film credits include the character ‘Kassa’ in One Love, the lead role of ‘Biggs’ in Shottas, and a role as John The Baptist in Haven.
